On November 8, at the Dynamo Volleyball Arena in Moscow (13 Vasilisy Kozhinoy Street), the next tournament of the Professional Wrestling League, PWL 10, will take place.
In the daytime session, dual meet matches in freestyle, women’s, and Greco-Roman wrestling will be held in Olympic weight categories between Russia and Belarus as part of the Cup of the Strongest.
In the evening session, the next tournament of the Professional Wrestling League World Series will take place, featuring top wrestlers from 14 countries – Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Russia, Serbia, the United States, Turkiye, Uzbekistan, and Japan. The participants include Olympic champions Zaur Uguev (Russia) and Yui Susaki (Japan), as well as world champions Abasgadzhi Magomedov (Russia), Malkhas Amoyan (Armenia), Nonoka Ozaki (Japan), Aytjan Khalmakhanov (Uzbekistan), Sergey Semenov (Russia), Aleksandr Komarov (Serbia), Eldaniz Azizli (Azerbaijan), and Akhmed Usmanov (Russia). The U.S. delegation will be led by Olympic champion Jake Varner and world champion, U.S. national team head coach Bill Zadick.
The Professional Wrestling League tournaments have been held since 2022. Since then, more than 1000 athletes from 28 countries, including 11 Olympic champions, have taken part in the competitions. In November, this number will grow – for the first time, representatives from Egypt and Japan will compete, and Yui Susaki will become the 12th Olympic champion to join the League.
