Rules for PWL 10: No points will be awarded for passivity in Greco-Roman wrestling

On November 8 in Moscow, at the Dynamo Volleyball Arena (13 Vasilisa Kozhina Street), the next tournament of the Professional Wrestling League – PWL 10 – will take place. Considering that PWL events are allowed to use their own rules, a rule modification will be tested in Greco-Roman wrestling.

The only difference from the current United World Wrestling (UWW) rules is as follows: In individual Greco-Roman matches, no points are awarded for passivity; the choice of position is given without a point. If the match ends with a score of 0:0, a third period is held – wrestling continues until one point is scored, with no time limit.

It should be noted that these rules will apply only in the evening session of the competition during the World Series bouts of PWL 10. The dual meet “Russia vs Belarus” will be held under the current UWW rules.
