Zelimkhan Abakarov is an Albanian (formerly Russian) freestyle wrestler from Dagestan (Khasavyurt), competing in the 57 kg weight class. A product of the Dagestani wrestling school, he trains under his father Arsen Abakarov and was long among the leaders of Russia’s flyweight division.
