Roman Vlasov is a Russian Greco-Roman wrestler, two-time Olympic champion (2012, 2016), and multiple world and European champion. He was born on October 6, 1990, in Novosibirsk, Russia. A student of the legendary coach Viktor Kuznetsov, who also trained Alexander Karelin, Vlasov is known for his exceptional strength, endurance, and fighting spirit. He is one of the most prominent representatives of the modern Russian school of Greco-Roman wrestling.
